I was in my diesel forum looking at the 4500/5500 forum (dodge is putting out a truck like chevy should and dodge does, a heavier duty that's not a t300 kw). here's what one was raving about

whenz that tundra diesel coming out? :mewants:
laughing1 I tell everyone I own a cummins with a piece of dodge wrapped around it. My dream rig: A Dmax with that front axle I just poted up and the Dana S110 that's in the rear of the 550's. every time I shopped for a cummins and dmax, the chevy's were consistently 5K higher for the same package and milage.

What is that a 10' bed? Why does Dodge continue to build odd ****? 10' beds and Megacabs? Why can't they just build a regular crewcab and call it good. Prolly if they had a regular crewcab they could run the standard dually fenders vs. the megacab only ones. And dont try to sell me on they do have a crewcab, that other thing is an extended cab with doors.

If dodge built a regular crewcab like Chevy and Ford, I'd probably own one right now with Chevy front seats. Fuggin Dodge seats suck some wildabeast balls.

Or if Chevy would just build their 4x's with straight axles..... :dunno:

agreed, the megacabs look like a rolling abortion to me and the "crew cab" I have is a joke, same as my '00, doors just open different

Ford or Chevy cannot match that interior space.
Why stop there? What about your living room? I look at those things like Toters/Bigrigs with a Sleeper on. I think its cool Dodge has that cab configuration, but they should cover their basics 1st. A regular crew, then a Mega. But I'm no truck designer, just a guy wanting a regular length crewcab, shortbed, solid front axle, with a cummins or a CAT.

Yeh me too! I love the MegaCab and would not trade it for any other punny little cab on the road. Ford or Chevy cannot match that interior space.

I think the dually megacabs are rolling abortions. I like my long bed because I can have a tool box in the bed and still get my gooseneck on. I had a dryer in the bed when ours went out and still hooked up to my gooseneck at a moment's notice with the toolbox still there and the dryer in front of the ball. No way in hell are you going to get a cattle trailer on with a toolbox and something else in the bed (torches, whatever) with a shortbed. Plus I just don't like shortbeds with a gooseneck that's wide at teh front (cattle hauler/enclosed ). too easy to get into when you have to jacknife it in somewhere.
