How locked? Powr-Lok's are pretty aggressive. Really aggressive without additive, or if the clutches are stacked that way.

Mine's like that too, but I'm pretty sure I just have the factory limited slip. It's pretty tight, I can pull a trailer from a dead stop up a gravel hill in 2wd and leave two ruts where I started from.

Sounds like a LS. If it was locked you should be able to turn the tire in one direction at least.

All manual trans 2nd Gen CTDs came with a Dana 80.

not totally.. the SRW trucks have a Dana 80/70 hybrid. 80 center section and 70 outters..


And yea crash.. no locker in yours.. it wasn't stock atleast. But the stock LS's are pretty tight.

Limited. I should post a pic of the end of my driveway, looks like I have a locker with how the gravel is thrown around. :haha:

It's pretty rare to have a 3.54 geared Dana 80 SRW truck with LS.. The 4.10 Dana 80's and 70's were quite a bit more common to have them.. So was the Dana 70 3.54..

So pretty much, if you have a Dana 80 SRW truck with 3.54's, 98% of the time your SOL on the LS.
