Does anybody have a hookup for synthetic winch line? Mine has broken a few times just sucking in the front axle. It's looking frayed and it broke again today. I could just cut it and braid it up again but it's really time to replace it. I'm thinking about 80 yards by 3/8".

I search a little bit at one point, and Scott@ Rockstomper was the cheapest I found but not by much from the offroad outfitters. I know there has to be cheaper out there. I.E. a marine supply shop, but I never checked.

I get 80' on my short drum 6000# winch. 5/16 is plenty big. Go for more rope. You are going to ruin the first 10' every 3-4 trips out, so get more so you dont have to re-order much. Want some fresh rope when you are hanging from a 40' waterfall......

I need to get some of that stuff. after using my winch a bunch at Coal Creek, I dont wanna handle cable again..**** is heavy and cuts ya up when it frays.

I have a hookup with winchline, they are a great company. Call and talk to the owner and tell him you have run some comps and he will probably hook you up. He gave me 25% off and sent free front and rear suckdown ropes for the small atv axles
