Well, tonight I welded in the cross member since the welder came and I finally have some time off again. I haven't welded with a "real" welder in a while, so dont laugh too hard at the welds. The machine is new, and the operator is out of practice. Im also welding with flux core wire since I don't have a bottle yet. Then again, Im also outside.I also tacked some of the core support on, I need to drill some extra holes for more spot welds, but once thats done, I can move onto painting stuff up again, then just some assembly. I'm HOPING we can toss it together good enough for a run to Reiter on Saturday, but its gonna be CLOSE, more towards the not making it side.I also got the oil pan gasket changed. What a PITA that is. I lifted the motor and dropped the diff to do it. Glad thats over with, hopefully it doesnt leak! Anyway, here are a few pictures of the new toy and the welds.~T.J.
