Just figured if anyone was having a bad day or going through some ****, that possibly I could lift Ya right up. I now have..
1. Another starter issue.. (What's new, no biggie)
2. Got the Sammy Runnin, nice knock in the motor.. (Another not really the end of world)
And last but def not least.. Wait for it....
3. BOOM my wife's car's motor took a ****!! I now have to find a motor and do the work myself. Should be a really fun time. Never done it before. This blows.
Just wanted to share I thought this might make someone feel better about their situation... I don't know wat I'm gonna do.. Guess it will work out.. So they say anyways!
I really hope everyone has a better week than I did last week... Have a good day fellas.

As far as the motor swap, its really not that bad on the newer cars. Most of the connections only go one place, and you shouldnt have to get much more then a long block to remedy your problems. Thats the route I would go anways, **** a junkyard motor in something like that. Depending on the car you can usually pick up a rebuilt/warrantied long block for a decent price if you look around. Most guys are cool about waiting a few days for the core so you can swap pieces and parts motor to motor in the garage without worrying about not knowing where that one sensor is supposed to go.

Truth, or you can pull the pan off, swap bearings with a fresh set off of rockauto, and fill it full of 15-50w diesel oil cut 50% with 90wt gear oil like....this...guy...i met once.... :****:

Those aren't problems. After 11 years busting my ass for the same company Friday I was told via a 2 minute phone call that they are letting 8 people go and I was one of them. It's a 2006 pontiac g6. 3500 3.5 v6 is what I'm looking for. And apparently I want the same year so I just plugs up. So I hear anyways. Had some master plan till she told her folks about the motor. Ain't no way a car with a blown motor can haul ass into the lake! Now I HAVE to fix it .. I just refuse to pay someone to do it. And I been burnin. Something's ya just can't stop thinking about it. Was just about to try and sell that turd also. And the Sammy is gonna ride till she stops. Rich hell! Haha. RPP would be some new ****. Not a few older cars. Ok my truck is not that old but it's how I make a living. And it's sick too. I gotta get to work. A month from now things should be better. Wish I had experience with motors. Just sucks cause this is NOT a good time for this **** to hAppen. Winter is when I can lollygag.. Summer I work my ass off to try and break even.

remember, these are just toys.. working on them and fixing/working out the kinks on them is all part of it.. sucks that you are going through starters like crazy but again, just a toy
