Dream Daily Driver Muscle Car

Well I'm a Ford fan so I have had two Mustangs in my past a 65 289 A code, sold upon daughters birth for diapers, ect, a 73 father son project which was sold when I had to move at age fifteen and both were started but never finished. My dream daily driver, beacuse I can still fit two kids and the wife in it, is a 03/04 Mustang Cobra aka Terminator which for its time was the car SVT built to finish the GM Camero/Firebird rivalry. With 390 HP and T56 it would make the morning and afternoon commute a blast, now knowing that less than twenty thousand of these were build I would like to simply build a clone from a Mustang GT in Capri Blue.

Only stang I've ever had was a 69 fast back with a Cleveland in it. Thing would scream but I hated the way it handled. My uncle has it now and is going to restore it one day he says. I sold it to him over 20 years ago. I much preferred my Camaros. Last one was an 81 Z28 with a 383. I had 5 second gen F bodies. Never finished the body work on it and sold it for house down payment money.

I flat out hated those when I was a teenager and in my early 20s. Damn things would pull up all quiet and then spank your ass.

If you really want a bad ass family car, go get you a Cadillac CTS-V wagon, put all the kids, soccer balls, and groceries in there, and smoke any mustang that rolls up! 565hp out of the box!

The terminator hands down. It looks great, makes great power, has a nice interior, makes huge power with upgrades, is affordable, and handles great. I have had 4 of these and recently sold the nicest one I have ever seen. It was an 03 Mineral Grey Kenne Bell car with 12,000 miles. It didn't have a rock chip or scratch on it. I put a set of True Forged Chicanas with painted to match centers. The car made 610 to the wheels with the upgrades. The only problem was it mad me nervous to drive because I was scared to get a chip or scratch.

I love the terminators too, there's just something about that supercharger whine. Plus V8 mustangs of that timeframe sound so good, stock or with upgraded pipes. My preference would be a DSG coupe. One day...

My dad had one of these when I was a kid. Black on black, ex-cop car, 440, then later a 383. It had the cop Mopar Rallys in the second pic there, I think the wheels and white letter tires made the look of that car. That, and the giant plume of smoke with two 1/4 mile long black stripes on the road.

e85 allows tons more boost & timing..... sure you use twice as much, but mo power is mo better

65 or 66 GOAT, Preferably rusty with dull paint. Original survivor with tri power and av 4 speed preferable.

This car exists 3/4 of a mile from where I live but a 20k offer for a 15k car with no budging sealed the deal for me.....all the right rust, all the right places. Sounds ridiculous, but I am that guy

I was never really impressed with them. The're nose heavy...the rear suspension is overy complicated and wasn't that much better than the stick-axle counter parts. FWIW, I had(still have) an 02 Mustang GT with a 150 shot and I never had any trouble hosing down the "terminators" with <600hp.

I've always viewed the modern Cobra's as more a "fan-boi" car.....Like a Toyota Supra, or whatever...... I roll my eyes at all the Roush and Saleen stuff.........99% of them are just body kits generic suspension pieces. You're paying for a name and a "number".

I'll take any E body Mopar from 70-74 as my "dream daily driver muscle car". The lines of the Cuda and Challenger are just beautiful to me.

Cadillac cts-v hands downs.

Had one. An 05 and just sold it. 24mpg on the highway and could seat 4 comfortably. For a daily driver it was fun and would bring the butthurt with the quickness to those who thought it was just a regular CTS once I took all the V emblems off. The 09+ CTS-V's are the jam and just make silly amounts of power with bolt ons, pulleys and a tune.
