So I have just strictly a trail rig and at the moment I can't afford a 60 at the time. . . but I was wondering if You can buy a set of drive flanges like you can for a front 60?????

I really am sick of hubs unlocking them and locking them when the thing never goes out of 4by!

So drive flange for a dana 44 is it possible???

Yes. Warn makes drive flanges for internal 30 spline D44s. Dana/Spicer had internal 19 spline D44s from the factory in a lot of mid 70s rigs. Try a wrecking yard for them. If you have something else going on, you can still probably get it handled.

Alright cool thanx guys!!! I have already blown out to sets of hubs and I'm just sick of them, like stated above more parts to break and in a fullsize I have enuff to worry about:rolleyes:

Thanx for the imput guys:beer: At the moment I have 19spline outers, and probably wont upgrade untill I have a 60!

I just realized that since I was originally all time 4 wheel drive That my old rotors should have drive flanges on them:cheer: Now the only problem is to find them in my mess of garage or maybe my storage place. . . . oh man this mite take me awhile to find:mad:

Thanx again guys!!! I will update my build thread hopefully tonight and show ya my new tranny - t-case and hopefully the rotors!!!

X2. Pull a Part. Waggy. Less than $20 or my name isn't Crusty McCrustypants.

Well waggys wont work I'm 8 lug!! :awesomework:

But my truck came with a factory 203 so I have those rotors with flanges somewhere in the mess i call a garage!! Now I just have to find them and clean them up!!

hey dove'd85 toyota made stockdrive flanges on 90's toyotas, they'll work but i have stripped them out and longfield makes a toyota drive flange that is cromoly that i run now and are lifetime gaurenteed!they bolt right on exept you have to replace two pins with 6 larger pins, they give you a bit and pins, theyre 85 apiece picked up.

ya thats weird .. i had factory drive flanges on my truck before i swapped it, i didn't ever have a problem with my hubs, well besides hub studs, i shattered three of the outer gears on my hubs:eeek: ... any ways yes i have seen the flanges:cool: bobby does great work:awesomework:

The flanges are the same.:;

Flanges suck when yer front ring blows 2 teeth and they lodge into the housing.

that was the main reason i decided i wouldn't go flanges. ya they're simple and strong, but what happens when this **** is your only way home with a terminated front end? hahaha.

also, some of us dont like to have round, balanced drivelines up front, so it's better to leave it hangin free induced rotation on the street.

if you gotta trailer, go flanges for strength and simplicity if that's what you want.

this is for a trail only rig:flipoff: and if your break a few teeth and you can get them unlodged...... then i guess you will have to pull a flange off or pull a shaft out, pull the driveline off ect...

well i love my flanges,but i also only trailer it,and i have a dana 60-toyota hybrid axle,cromo-rifle drilled 35spline axles,detroit,and 39.5s but only 22r squirrels,fi of course
