driveline troubles

allwrite guy im workin on my buddys 89 extened cab it has the 5 inch trail gear sas v6 with single case and we cant get the drive line angle to work has anybody had this prob yet i heard that you can take the cv on the drivline apart and do some grinding on anybody heard about this

Is the pinion pointing straight up (or close to) toward the Tcase??? Yes you can clearance CV's, but there are higher angle CV's out there saving you from the trouble.

get a 84-85 shaft.

it is an 84 85 cv and it still dosnt have enough im trying to talk him into moving the axle fowerd another inch or two but hes not having it yet

shim it??? they sell them at les schwab. just make sure to put enough diff fluid in to keep the pinion in oil

imo not worth it at all, either you don't have your pinion set up right or the rig is WAAAAAAAAYYYY to TALL can you snap a couple shots of the driveline angle
