I am looking at the heavy duty kit from EOR but 2.5in .250 wall seems pretty large for a front drive shaft. Is this what everyone is running? I was thinking of using 2in .250 wall. but both their heavy duty kit and carrier bearing both are set up for that.

I ran 2.5 1/4 wall in my last buggy and it was the last one I ever put in it. Also only ran 1350 joints and they held fine.

If you have the room around your oil pan, run it. You'll never worry about a shaft again. It's the way to go for sure

I have used the eor driveshaft kit for a few shafts they are beefy if you can have someone face your tubing on a lathe that way everything is nice and true and also make sure you joints are phased correctly bc the weight of the shaft will cause issues with pinion bearings if not done correctly

Good advice. I got the kits ordered today so I will have them cut down on the lathe and go from there. Does anyone run oil in them or are they too heavy to make a difference?
