dual mixers and propane???

I ran duel mixers hooked up on progressive linkage with one vaporizer and it ran great. Two mixers don't start well sometimes though when cold.

A single mixer and vaporizer are designed to flow enough air and fuel to support around 325 hp. On a 350cu sized engine it will run out of air/fuel around 5000 rpm and above that will start to choke the engine. So if you are running dual mixers you need to be running dual vaporizers as well. If you have any issues with cold starts we have a start valve that will shoot a small amount of fuel into the intake to help the engine start easier.

We have a lot of dual mixer setups on rock crawlers and competition buggies. If I can help out let me know.

Sincerely,

I just happen to have two 300As and a 425. Would running the 300s be much different than the single 425? They'd be on a 355 with sportsman heads, 11.4 compression and some other goodies.

There are two sizes of 300A mixers, 300A-20 and 300A-70. The larger size is good for about 300 hp and the smaller one for around 250 hp. We put together
some dual mixer kits with 300's when I still had the dual 300 adapters. One went on a GM 454 crate engine(425 hp) and the other went on a strong Ford 460
engine. Both run very well. They are good mixers.

So to answer your question, yes running two of them would out perform one 425 mixer.
