Dumb Newbie Toyota question...

Just spent the last 30 plus minutes searching pirate and google and can't find a definitive answer. perhaps my search skills are sucking tonight....

I have a Toyota 5speed, with dual cases.

Last weekend I drained the fluid from the trans/tcases and refilled. I did not find a drain plug or fill plug in the front case (the crawl box case). Is this correct or am I missing something?

There is no fill plug. There is no seal between the crawl box so you can put an extra quart in it and it'll naturally spill over. Or you can fill it through the shifter hole.

Nick I always remove the fill plug on the t-case and the forward shifter. Fill at the forward shifter till the fluid comes out the fill in the rear t-case. Like ryan said they share fluid/no seal between them.
