e-brake?

It's a line lock on hydraulic brake line, and some (which kind I am unsure) are known to slowly blead off. Just something to keep in mind when using it.

Far more expensive Line Locks have a switch you can wire thru the vehicle horn. If the lock should bleed off the horn will blare before the lock bleeds down completly. Unless the loss is sudden.

Other (also expensive) can be connected in a method which utilizes both front and back brakes from a dual master cylinder.

Also none of them are excepted as an E-brake because of the bleed off potential.

Electric versions have been known to stay locked where the mechincal ones do not.
