Looking for feedback on how a load rating affects performance on our wheelers. Would a "D" rated tire work better than an "E" rated tire on the average wheelin rig?

In other words, if you were to buy a particular tire for wheeling only, and it was offered in 2 or more diffferent load ratings, which would you buy and why?

One more thing, has anyone run the old style 37/12.50x17 MTR's before? If so, how did they perform? If Im not mistaken, these were only available in an "E" rating whereas the new style in the same size is only offered in a "D".

Thanks in advance....
Bill

tread and side wall is a little stiffer if you look at the # ratings on the D to the E its only about 200-800# diffrence in load cap. just air down more.

I only ran 3-4 lbs in my 39.5 IROK's....Im hoping these will be good with the same amount of air in them....like kev says, guess I will find out on Sunday.
