Like last year, we'll have an afternoon challenge but instead of it being a Bounty Hill Challenge, it will be a Hill Climb Challenge!!!
This Hill Climb Challenge will be run on the straight up, easy to see from anywhere, hill at the lower flats area. Its easy to get to by anyone, easy to see, and is doable by ay Class B or C rig. The hill climb will be timed. You will get 3 shots to get your best time. Your fastest time will win $$$$!
This Hill Climb Challenge is open to anyone that meets the following:
Has a DOT helmet
Roll bar/hard top combo or full roll cage
4 pt harness
Pays a $10 "entry" fee for this Challenge. 100% payback!!! ECORS will even match the payout to 1st place up to $200
No winch required. If your winching, you lost!
What you will win: 100% of entries payout to 1st place. ECORS matches entry payout up to $200. Sponsor prizes as we get them.
Show your stuff and have a great time at this Challenge. There are not any "classes" set yet. But, if we get a fair number of rigs set as Class B type and Class C, we'll break it up to be fair to each type of rig.
Camping:
All camping on site is primitive and free to all paid spectators if you want. We'll give you an arm band when you pay so if you leave, you can return without paying again. If you have an RV, there is room for you to park on level ground and be good. Tent camping will NOT be allowed in the PIT area. If you are a racer and plan to camp, select a spot outside of the PITs.
Sponsors and vendors:
All are welcome but must register with us. If you want to provide a service to the spectators and/or racers, contact us for registration. There are special considerations for sponsors that are already committed to ECORS, so we must help to be fair to them. If you want to provide services, contact ECORS.
As always, club "vendor" tents are free so long as each person pays the normal gate entry fee. ECORS will donate the vendor space for you to promote your club.
Something else we are doing is giving "vendor" space to non-profit organizations just like 4x4 clubs.
Gate entry is $12 per person, kids 10 and under are free. Kids under 18 should be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Partial gate proceeds are donated to the Rock Corps 4x4 Club who have been gracious enough to allow ECORS to come to The Flats. Please be respectful of their efforts and hospitality and be sure each person takes care of their gate entry fees. Your efforts are greatly appreciated and help us and Rock Corps to continue to provide entertainment to you all!
