I agree that could be devastating to a tire..Although i got a long way to go on my current wheeler to find out. What if you bent the rebar all the war around the log in a " U " shape then bend an L on the ends dig a hole drop the bar over the log and pour mud. That way there would be no sharp points at all. I do concrete work so i have a bender and everything to make it happen. Just an idea you could just choke it real tight with a chain and do the same. I think the rebar would keep it place better. I would use at least 5 bar you can even get it coated to last forever.ChopShop, had fun wheelin with you guys on sat. even tho it was everything i could do to try and keep up with those open diffs. Thats changin quick tho
