Over time, even the big ones will move but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Some jerk is going to pull out a log cause he's stuck or go sideways and knock out the supporting logs.A few years back, we spent a weekend digging out mud holes, putting in a solid wood bottom with logs and then putting the mud back in. The very next weekend we heard that people were trying to winch our logs out of the hole because it made them too easy. Sometimes there's just no understanding what some people will do.I think the rebar supports are a great option to consider IF the logs start moving around and become a problem. Until them, let's us 'em and see how they work. There's no absolute science to this. It's trial and error. Somethings will work better than others and you tweak things along the way.
