Wow, that was quick. Thanks for the pics. Some of them actually show how deep it was. Up to my healights in some spots!

Yes, that pen looks like it ran out of ink...I can barely make out NWW (or was it NWA:D )

Guys, I have to point something out here. This is meant to be educational, not judgemental.

This right here is the type of activity that closes the park for winter. This is NOT on the road or on the trail. It's driving through the ditch up to a tree just to see if you can.

In the second and third pics you've dug a big hole going 90 degrees to the road and the trail is about 30' away.

The USFS is watching and this is the kind of stuff that they are NOT going to like.

It may seem harmless and I'm sure there was no malicious intent but the end results are the same. They only see some guy with big tires driving off the road and off the trail causing damage during the winter.

I've tried to get the pics to copy to this post but can't get it to work. I'm talking ONLY about the 2 shots where you can see the mud along the side of the road and the jeep going up to the tree.

Gibby I understand your point but I will say this is at the end of the 520 in a big play area. the mud is an existing mudhole that is there all year(when wet) and on either side of the tree is the split ends of the 520. there are about 6 different ones there.People drive all over this spot and it is part of the play area all year. I see your point because the others that criticize this dont know the location. all other pics are on the road or trail.

More than fair enough on the explanation Sean. It easy to see though how a greenie can take a look at that and use it to their advantage. I was trying to picture where that was, it's a lot harder with the snow... It looked like it was where the 7920 road comes to a Y

i see how it is... it snows and ya go wheeling with out me :flipoff: just kidding im going to elbe tommorow

Have fun gettin muddy. Oh its a cold beotch this morning.

I changed the pics a lil. enjoy. THe one with tankota in the trees is about 500ft up the end of the 520 and it was alot of work to get that far. The one of mine with my son was going up the road towards the log pile, and that was stopping me. We made it another 1000 ft or so and I turned around. The drift was all the way across the road to the hillside. I bet there is another 6in to a foot now, it was snowing like a banchee when we left.

I wish you guys would have let me know you were going I would have came down. I love evans in the snow.

Mark and "barry"...you two are always invited. We knew that "Barry" would be working on the busiest shopping day of the year and we also figured that snow is snow and Mark may find some closer to him...considering Evans is a 2-2.5hr? drive. We'll go back and make sure we let you guys know ahead of time.

In one of the pics you can see snow up to my fender...thats over 4ft deep! :eeek:
Shoulda put my chains on then I coulda been pushing snow with my windshield:D

For those of you not completely familiar with Evans it may be difficult to tell because of the FOUR FEET OF SNOW! But we never went off the road or the trail (as Wheeinjp explained).

PS Even if we did (which we didn't!) you wouldn't be able to reach the dirt cause of how deep the snow was.
