Eastern Washington Off Road- Naches Pass Day Run Report
Saturday July 29th, 2006 we meet up at the Wood Sled on Hwy 410 and convoyed to the Naches Pass trail. We started at 1913 and headed west to the end. The trail had a lot of traffic but we made some good time. Here are some of the pictures of the run I took.
Here Test Dummy got stuck.
We parked and walk to the Urich Cabin.
It was dusty come down the west side of the pass.
The trail got a little damper as we dropped down.
I think it was at this road crossing the trail started getting real good.
The very last part had a good drop. There were two by passes. I went all the way to the left and it was tight through the trees. Tiny drop down on the right. I thing that was the trail years ago.
Tiny coming down the end of the trail to Road 70.
Test Dummy took the by pass in the middle and it didn't work to well. He had a hard time making the corner.
Fatboy drop down the way Tiny did.
Here we took a break before running the forest road back over to the east side.
Guessing the way back.
Headeding back toward NF19.
This was a great run. It would be a lot of fun to run the trail back up from road 70 all the way across some day.
