I'm asking opinions on whether or not one of those pearson benders would work for your average 1.75x .120 dom?
I've seen them used to do cages long ago but I can't remember if it dented the tubing bad or not.
Has anybody had experience using one for roll cages etc...
it's a ben pearson bp79.

I'm asking because I have a chance to buy a pretty nice machine really cheap, but not sure if I would like the quality of the bends??

We have one at the shop. Garbage. Freakin sweet for exhaust but it ruins tubing for cage work.

Mainly because its a push through bender and the pressure required to push a piece of tubing through the center dimples the tubing at the bend :(

I spose you could pack it with sand like the pipe bender guys do but by then you'd wish you had a $800 TUBING bender
