F-250 running gear

I have a lead on a junker F-250 that I can probably get for free/cheap. He's not sure on the year yet but thinks it's a late 70's or early 80's model. Isn't that around the right years for a HP60 front end? It also has a 4sp manual. Any guesses on what tranny that would be? I'm just trying to figure out of it's worth my time to drag this thing home to part it out.

Probably a NP435 4spd.

if it was a late 70's snowfighter edition it will have a 60 front. otherwise it will be a 44hd. if its early 80's it will be a TTB front end.

Tranny could also be a T-18. My 81 Had one. :redneck:

More than likely, its TTB. Heard the knuckles can be used for high steer?
