Did the rear C notch and axle flip on my dads beater truck Sunday. Its so nice to work on **** thats within reach and requires very little fab laughing1

We had to put old wheels and tires on the rear until he could get tires that would fit on the rear wheels that match....

I think it will be pretty cool once he gets the "repaint" work done on it and the truck matches and stuff... I like big low vehicles I may have some messican back ground or summin. laughing1

Paul is that the DJM notch?

On my '90 when we did it I stitch welded a piece of 2x2 .25 wall tubing on top of the frame bridging the area over the notch. You will need to remove 2" of that one bed support on each side of the bottom of the bed to do it.
I just didn't have full faith in removing that much of the frame and expecting the rear not to flex or ducktail with a load or trailer on.

Yep DJM

He wants to box the frame in the rear for support , will he ever do it ??? Doubt it. laughing1
