i have a metal radiator for a 91 4wd toyota. my question is will the factory AT cooler inside the rad work for my hydro assist cooler? has anyone used the AT cooler for this purpose?

The general thought on the PBB is no, Bad idea to introduce engine heat to your hydro system. I use a heat sinc for my full hydro.

Heres a pic it is on left in front of the shock resivior

where did you get that cooler? and is there a reason you have two differant cooler lines?:redneck: :haha:

Looks like a PSC cooler--used the same thing on the last 2 rigs--very nice unit.....

I use the factory a/c condensor assy. fits right in (obviously) and works like a champ. heat is spread across the whole frontal area and NO chance of overheating.

The cooler is from PSC. The reason for the diff. colored hose is cause I got a fitting and hose kit from PSC also. There wasn't enough hose (black poor planing) so I got some more from a local hydro shop (red).

do you no what the capacity of the condensor is? what size tires are you running?

holds 1.5 qts and I am running 40" tires.

Distributed the heat over a bigger area is a more efficient cooler.
