Okay, so give me some feedback. Good.... Bad....

I have located a full set that are already mounted on what look like centerline rims. They came off a 1986 Toy truck, which, funny as it seems, is the same year of my Toy Truck.

So, other than pay for them, all I need to do is jack up Yoda and stick 'em on!

Oh size is 31-10.5/15.

Yes, I know. I probably put the syntax wrong.

One other thing. the tread on the Federal is about 75-80%, while I have about 10-15%.

How do you feel about Taiwanese products?

They do sound better than what you have though.

Right now, because I plan on doing work on the Toy, and I can't put bigger tires on, and new ones run about $900. I don't really care if Munchkins made them.

Doesn't Pep Boys sell those Federals (MS281's?)? I don't have any direct experience with them, but I'm sure they're just fine.

A price would help. I just put new 31x10.50-15 BFG AT's on my wife's rig for $500. They're not the best tire off-road, but I know that they balance well and I won't have to worry about them for a long time.

Craigslist is full of 31s. It might cost you $60 to get them mounted, but there are a lot of good deals to be had if you are just looking for something to get you by for a few months to a year.

Price, $450, with rims.

The BFG tires I was looking at, at Discount, 5 of them, were $853 or so.

This was in Totem Lake. Maybe that had something to do with the price....

I just bought four tires with rims for $50. 31x10.50 15R. There are deals to be had out there. I am sure you can do better than $450 for tires with rims.

I am sure the Federal tires are fine. Remember the Firestone Fiasco a few years back? You haven't heard about Federal tires blowing out have you?

I did find some already mounted on Taco Rims for $350.

Everyone thinks their tire/rim package is the best. I would rather be cheap about this, but I don't want crap tires or rims either.
