That's a bunch of wankers right there.
I came here from Virginia. There in the mighty COMMONWEALTH of Va, you have to get a safety inspection once a year. Here is a list of the things that I have been failed for.
-Windshield cracked (88 XJ, fixed problem)
-Rear passenger window won't roll down (88 XJ, re-inspect at different station and they didn't check it)
-No 3rd brake light (on my TJ, threw it away ages ago)
-Tires stick out too far past fender flares (TJ, put stock tires back on and took in for inspection)
- No mud flaps even though stock tires (TJ had to go to state police barracks and prove rig didn't come with mud flaps.)
- "off road" lights higher than headlights (TJ, had to remove lights to pass inspection)
- Muffler exceeding db limit (XJ had to replace flowmaster with stock type muffler)
- Doors missing (TJ, took it into inspection without the doors on it, they failed me for not having them on)
I think that's about it. As you can see, you folks out here in WA have it easy with emissions inspections only. My Jeep now would NEVER pass Va inspection.
