Who does this, I don't want to switch out my cylinder for another, just want it tilled. Anywhere close that does this?

Your local Linweld. I tried every other place in KC and they wanted a buttload of money for it or exchange. If I recall correctly my 10# was under $20... They are awesome.

Call a local paintball shop and find out who fills theirs.

Northern Tool supposedly fills as well. I use Tri-Gas, but there just local Houston.
Rob, up there I always used Praxair. Linweld was too high $'s.

I have 2 tanks I would like to have filled (or swapped), perhaps I can give them to you when you get your done.

Call Kieth (ORC), I know people are not swapping their PowerTank cylinders.

I cannot find anybody up here we don't have those places you mention. Just AirGas and all they do is exchange. I have a tank that I painted and spent time getting nice, no way I am exchanging it.

I was in ****'s sporting goods a while back and I think I seen a sign saying they filled tanks.

Try Baker Distributing in Birmingham 324-6515 They can fill small ones in the store. Not sure how big yours is but you can call and hopefully they will work something out with you.

Had to call airgas so I asked and they said that the plant in Bessemer fills tanks. Their number is 205-428-9111.

The Airgas store on 31st does this, problem is they are of course dicks about it. My tank was painted with rattle can and they said some **** about having to have it bead blasted. Then they said it was out of date, and would have to be re-certified or whatever. If anyone has a hookup on this that will let all the bs regulations slide I would greatly appreciate it.

You should be able to go to a welding supply store. Do you have a Nordan Smith Supply over there?

Let me know something, I was trying to have this filled before Tellico which does not look likely. Thanks

If you want to take to Tellico, we can swap mine and you can take it, assuming you cannot find a fill place.

Like John said, call Keith. Keith carried my tank somewhere in Tarrant and had his and mine filled a while back. Cost me 10 or 15 bucks, something like that, it's been a while and I'm getting old and I can't remember **** anymore.

I believe my wifes cousin / and her brother got all the stuff to fill , her cousin works at Airgas and has done some nice "hook up" stuff for me in the past, Ill know something after work .

I asked the same question a while ago. Someone told me to go by S & S Carbonic, downtown. I never did call to make sure though. I still need to fill mine.

I 've been down this road too many times. I gave away my aluminum nicely painted matching tank and bought me one of the ugly metal ones. Now I can abuse the **** out of it exchange it for a new one for about 14$. Alot of places don't fill the aluminum tanks because they can explode. Most fire extinguisher places can fill aluminum Co2 tanks. Look at the max psi on your tank then check out the psi on your pop off valve. That's one reason they wouldn't fill mine.
