Joes Racing...they are local right next to Boeing in Everett. You can just show up and purchase stuff

Holy ****...all that machined aluminum to replace two band clamps...or even just drilling and tapping a couple holes in the existing tube?

It's a fire extinguisher, not a fashion accessory.

ya. those are a bit to gawdy.... my extinguishers came with a cheap plastic wall mount and not that metal one like is shown in the pic. How spendy are they up at Joes, do you know Mauler?

Maybe some pics of what people have done too, i'm, not opposed to fabbing something up but i obviously want it to release the extinguisher faster than a dress on prom night!

Zip ties. Weigh next to nothing and if yer **** is on fire easily defeated.

I basically built the same thing as the fourtrek mounts using two 1 1/2" exhaust clamps and some flat bar. I just welded the flat bar to the flats on the clamps and bolted them onto the tube. The 1 1/2" clamps fit my 1 5/8" tube absolutely perfectly so be mindfull that the clamps are oversized if you go this route. :D

Like I said the u-bolts go towards the front and the clamps in the rear on my setup. I used nyloc nuts throughout but I had to shave the ones holding the plastic mount down just a hair to clear the cage.
