FIRST Robotics

Thought some might enjoy looking at this on a slow day at work.

My students along with several other classes around campuss have been building a robot to compete in a match similar to Robot Wars.
We have been working on it since Jan. 5 and have to ship it out Feb. 17. We have been working on this thing 3 nights a week and every Saturday to get ready for the comp. watched the vid and saw the aluminum boxy looking thing you were making.... your famous as **** son ! :woot:

That's cool . I am a robotics maintenance tech. I work on Denso, Fanuc and IAI . It is amazing what they can do. Is your robot actually running software or is it all hand controlled through a remote?

The comp last 3 min. 20 sec is programmed and the rest is manual
