Do you guys think this is fixable? If not what would be the best solution.

Rattle can over it and rock out. pepper.gif

Nah I won't do it again, I didn't do that, Cameron did.
I'm trying to get it ready to sell.
How would I go about putting a new cowl on since it isn't removable like a buggy.

New cowls are expensive becaue it is all one pieced and includes the firewall I think. That is the hardes spot to fix on a jeep

cut out old, replace with new/used. tack tack tack tack, smooooth, bondo, primer, paint.

that looks pretty beat to snot though.

This rig is one big ass thorn in yer side Cole.

X2 I'd do that or sell to someone who doesnt care. I'd imagine you don't wanna do that though because the better it looks the more money you'll recover.

I had a 1 piece plastic cowl that covered just that area on the buggy that I owned for a few months. It was thin enough that you could actually just lay it over the metal and paint to match. No idea where it came from...it came with the buggy. I bought Jim O'briens old werock buggy.

One word: PATINA!

Leave that ****, have TC sign it. That's got to be worth a hundy or so right there.

That aught to buff right out.

Hang the for sale sign right there so it covers the dent.

Put a big sticker there to cover it up.

Let potential owners test drive it then act suprised by the dent and blame them.

Just toss your Hardline Hoodie over that spot and if they see then dent offer to throw in the hoodie on the deal to make up for the dent. (PS works better if you have a black hoodie.)

Get a squirrel built like Chuck Norris to crawl inside with a little hammer and beat that baby back out straight from the inside.

You could mount your spare tire there?

Cut that section out with a sawzall and put in something like a glove box insert for storage.

I'll keep working on ideas and let you know what I come up with.

:flipgotcha:

every one of those made me laugh. esp the chuck squirrel molaugh molaugh
I say take the cut off wheel on a die grinder and cut a section out, go to jy, chop us another while you're stealing the hood and grille, and tack tack it back in. grind it smooth, polifan (zerkon wheel) **** bondo and spray that bitch.

Got a new Hood yesterday thanks to Joe, having a hard time finding a Grill though. There proud of those things.

If we beat it in a little more towards the winshield it would almost look like a 3D metal flame. Then we could airbrush it to look like a flame. that'd be cool.

LOL, I didn't see it before but you're right! Man shadow it a little bit with some darker orange and it'd look sick! laughing1

cole is that a yj grille or tj i have a spare tj grill and hood that i got w/ a old buggy...let me know.....on the cowl i had the same problem here while back beat it out and bondo cheapest and quickest fix now the windshield post is f'd drill it and pull it out may work add a ass load of bondo and sell that motha good luck......

Cole,

that is nothing (spoken lightly, lol) to a body man....it can be fissed....they will just drill a bunch of little holes in it and pull out the major dents, smooth it all up and you'll be GTG......

Might be able to take a slide hammer to it, and bondo over the holes, that would be cheapest.
