My lower rad hose is gonna need two pretty good flexes in it to snake by the air bump and get to the water pump outlet.

What do you think would be a good over the counter ( go to Vatozone type place ) purshase... Do they have any performance type universal hose's or whatever ?

Just thinking outloud cause my mind is full time buggy ponder . I was thinking Id just measure it go in there with some bent up clothes hanger and see what they got hangin in the hose isle....

( still gotta plug that intake outlet as well... crusty POS.. wish I had bank for aluminum heads and a bling new intake LOL One day upgrade i suppose )

I did the exact same thing on saturday. Just go to your local auto parts store and start thumbing through the 100's of different hoses. It took me two trips but I finally got what I needed!

That sounds like a plan. When they ask for the application, "1987 Yugo, that was the only year for the V8".

Mock up your "snake route" with welding wire, then carry to parts house to see how lucky you are.

if that fails, make a 2 piece hose with exhaust tubing and tight ass rubber bends. I use chevy rads on gen III motors, and you have to reroute the hoses side to side to make it work. piece of cake. if you need me to, I can bring down my EXTENSIVE collection of hose bends and clamps from cut up hoses and some stainless tubing like on cabot's thumb.gif

Thats the plan with coat hangers though... Im just wound tight, Im sure I can pull something off the hose shelf that will work just fine.

i had to do the same on my lower radiator hose. i just went to advance auto or auto zone (one of them don't remember) went to the back where they had all of them hanging.
i bought 2 or 3 and took the others back that didn't fit. i to am to cheap for the nice ones from summit of jegs.

oreilly's had some actual flex hose in rubber in many different lengths diameters and all had reinforcing coil inside
