Maybe I'm a big ass dork but I caught this show on wed night on GAC. I kinda got a little hooked. I stayed up and watched 3 episodes.

Anybody ever checked it out? What you think?

Eh no doubt great entertainment. Only problem for me is I pretty much only get family tv time. I enjoy somethin that kiddos can watch too.

I can get naked hillbilly entertainment live at most wheeling runs. Lol

This show is about buying vintage campers of all kinds and restoring/flippin them. Usually mid 40s models. Still think I'm a dork. Lol

Yeah, we have the same deal here. I have to wait for the boys to go to bed before I can watch Louie or SoA off the DVR. Walking Dead, they can tough it out. I don't delay it a minute!

Reckon I'm gonna have to check out the RV show, ya got me curious.

Saw this the other day while I was trying to find something to watch for my 1/2 hr treadmill run. I used to be an RV repair tech, so I loved it. Didn't strike me as geek material at all.

I have a guy at work that flips Airstreams. He makes stupid money and loves working on them. He has done some mid 60s stuff. Pretty meet to see the craftsmanship.

Lol. Ninja you crazy

I figured id be the only one watchin it. This week was a build on a super small, lesbians cabin. They rebuilt the dinette table and support so it wouldnt fall apart while her and her girlfriend were spread eagle on the folding bed. Then they put in a small propane heater along with her lesbian hipster zebra trim around it.

Then they had a full restoration on another small vintage trailer that they had to do for a state park rental. It was full raw aluminum exterior. Looks similar to an airstream. The siding had super old school "picklinger" joints or something like that. Think I'm wrong on the name. Its some kind of way they bring 2 pieces of sheet together so the rain will flow over the joint and not allow moisture to get through. They said back in the 50s there was a special machine that made these joints and since the machines dont exist anymore they had to make the joints by hand with blocks of wood, putty knives and such. The build turned out pretty slick.

I need to look this show up, sounds better than that one where they restore them for outrageous prices for rich folk.

Ha I've seen maybe half a dozen episodes of the million dollar RV's. It's like NASCAR for me. I know I'm never gonna own one or drive one so I lose interest real quick.

I like this show because they take absolute piles of junk and resurrect them to original vintage quality. They hide modern electronics behind vintage panels and really make them liveable by today's standards. Its kid friendly. No drama yet. Just small family business.
