I need a new rear output shaft bearings set for my '79 ford np205, I know what the bearings are called, but for some reason the guy at oly4x4 wasn't able to look up the number:rolleyes: they didn't have their books..., aside from pulling it apart and looking on the bearing, is there a way to get the timken numbers? I have been looking at exploded views but none give those numbers.... OR does anyone have those numbers floating around in their heads?:corn:

Thanks,
Aaron

Nachi 6307N C3 Japan. Don't use a Chinese bearing. Timken doesnt make this one either, ive tried to buy them.

(red) 2242: Nachi 6307N C3 Japan

(blue) 2186: SCE 3216 INA USA

Valley Gear and Transmission in Seattle has them.

Thanks! I just went ahead and pulled them out (they almost fell out...) but they didn't look or feel all the bad, but there is still some play for some reason, I rechecked my flange to the old yoke and both have the same amount of play, so i took that out of the equation for now.. so the inner needle bearing and the outer caged bearing are supposed to be in tomorrow for me to pick up, so hopefully i can put it all together tomorrow night and test it and see if it's better!:corn:
