just wanted to thank those of you who had helpful info the other day when i was pissin and moanin about my bent straight axle.i had a line on one prior to the swap meet.i thought i would try and save a 100.00 bucks.get what ya pay for.anyhow,i ended up buyin it.its nice and straight, hence the name.axle shafts slipped right in.and yea the 30 spline birfs are a pain to install.so now shes sittin high and mighty in the front.time to tear the rearend out of it.know of anyone lookin for a not straight straight axle.thanx again

For the record; there was some discussion on here about the other bent housing. Some thought that it could be from Chuck welding his truss on there too hot. I picked up the bent one for bunk yesterday and it is clearly bent at the leaf spring perch. Bad jump, NOT poor craftsmanship. Not that it matters but just an FYI.

thanx darby
