I've bought two pairs of 16 2.0 remote reservoir coil-overs. One pair of fox and one pair sway-a-ways. Is there a distinct difference between the two? It appears the SAWs are slightly beefier. I'm not doing any desert racing just trails and a little bounce from time to time.
Thanks.

Re:

Be a little difference when you tune them. Just dont shove them on there without some tuning. Makes a difference even when just wheeling.

Yeah tuning will be done. The only problem I've had is I built mounts off of foxs, and the SAWs have a wider mount. I was thinking of selling SAWs and getting matching foxes. I got a good deal and believe I could get my money back.this is my first time with coil-overs I don't want to pay the difference for new foxes and downgrade.

they are both great shocks but in the SE it is easier and quicker to get parts for FOX in stock at major shops like eor etc

Very good point. My next shocks will be fox with out a doubt. If you're shopping, give scott at sunfire offroad a call. He has competitive prices and great service.

Both are great products. Since you built your mounts for Fox I would sell the SAW and get a pair of Fox. Then you could swap any of your shocks to any spot on your rig. Another benefit is one shim kit for all your shocks. Meaning a valve stack from the front could be moved to the rear or a compression stack minus one shim used on rebound.

Good to hear about blue torch. ( I started the "no love for BTF" thread). Excellent point on being able to swap parts.

A guy in Harlan on here had to switch out a rear C/O to the front because of broken shaft. He did do over half of Lions Den with no C/O on the front booyang

red or black? :****: thats about what it comes down to

Both are about the same in terms of quality. Fox parts are probably easier to get on the shelf somewhere...but you shuoldnt have much issue getting SAW parts either.
