Hey fellas. I am running radius arms on the front of a tj with 16" air shocks. Having trouble with my track bar geometry. Is there a rule of thumb I should go by? Parallel with axle..30 degree angle 45 degree etc etc? The way i have it now the driver side will not extend past 10 inches with my track bar in place? Any input appreciated..

I run long radius arms. Pic would be nice. Rule of thumb is keep it as parallel with the steering arm as possible. If you have cross over. If you have hydraulic I would run a string front the frame (where steering box would be to where a high steer arm would be and make the track bar match that. Mine flexs great with no binding at all and I started with a steering box and just left the track bar alone when I went to hydraulic.

Looks like its to short. Should go to passenger side of the axle. Mine go's over to the old passenger side spring perch.

As TBI said, you need to make it closer to parallel with the axle. looking at the pic, looks like you could extend the frame side mount down about 4-5" then turn the bar upside down from how it is installed now for differential chunk clearance. I see full hydro in the pics so you won't have to worry about track bar geometry affecting steering.

Re:

I have it as low on frame as i can get at full stuff...guess ill raise on axle end and try that

Exactly.. looks like you have it mounted on the back of the axle. Put it on top and get it as straight as possible. Mine is on top of the axle and is about 6-7 inches high. Mine could afford to be a little flatter but, keep in mind the higher you make the mount on the axle the more leverage it will have on it. That will only mean build the mount strong and brace it if needed. If I think about it I`ll post a pic of mine. Very simple but effective mount.
