Exactly.. looks like you have it mounted on the back of the axle. Put it on top and get it as straight as possible. Mine is on top of the axle and is about 6-7 inches high. Mine could afford to be a little flatter but, keep in mind the higher you make the mount on the axle the more leverage it will have on it. That will only mean build the mount strong and brace it if needed. If I think about it I`ll post a pic of mine. Very simple but effective mount.
