Working on a 1 ton build for my tj. I had been planning on a 65 WMS front HP60 but as I get closer to locking in the decision I'm having second thoughts if the 65 will be too narrow for 39.5x13.5s on 17x8.5 WEs with 4.25 BS.

Thoughts and input are greatly appreciated.

My buddy has a 63 wide 60f with 17X9 rims and 37 rockers covered by the ultra wide psc fenders. His tires poke about 2 inches out of the fenders. The best part is it loads up on a standard trailer. I have no idea what B/S the rims are.

I should add that I'm not really worried about fender tuck so much. I'm mostly concerned about turning radius.

I am at 65.5 WMS and have no regrets. Just pick the right backspace wheels to suit your width needs.:;

Wheels have been ordered. Walker Evans 17x8.5 with 4.25 BS. In fact, I have the rear 60 already (64WMS) now. Just getting jittery I suppose. The front axle is a bit of an investment so I'm just looking to verify that I'm not screwing myself with a 65WMS front. :eeek:

What tires you going to run, I am 78 bulge to bulge(40" Maxxis) with 5 1/4 backspaced walkers.

39.5x13.50 bias iroks
I have that exact combo for sale right now. Well, backspace is different, 5 1/4. We should have chatted and I could have made you a good deal. With 4.25 backspacing you should be around 80" outside of tires.
