my 3.8 ford motor isn't running right and I'm not much of a motor person so any help is appreciated.
all the wiring and computers is stock or as close as I can get and it ran good at first.
it runs pretty good but sometime stumbles on accelleration and sometimes at idle. I just had it out and it was running fine but letting it idle and in gear moving slowly it would idle up when I put the breaks on and "jump" thru the brakes. Seems like the computer is changing the idle.
I do have a disconnect on the negative battery cable and I have been turning it off. Would the computer have to relearn everything after that?
3 courses at XRRA it ran fine, then the rain came and there was a 2-3hr pause and I turned the negative off. It stumbled and hesitated bad on that course.
Now I've been welding on it and turned it off again and it's doing it again.
what are somethings to try/test/tune???
