2000 gmc crew cab k2500, 5.7 ,4l80e, 4.10 gears 285/75-r16. I tow a 8x24 bumper pull homemade trailer ~2000lb, rhino, and tj so total should be around 7500-8500 trailer weight. I usually get 10-12mpg with only truck unloaded. With my for mentioned trailer weight and spare parts it gets 8mpg running 55-70. Once had near 13k gooseneck trailer weight and got 7.4mpg running as hard as I felt the engine could stand.

Running 65mph in drive the 5.7l is turning 2400-2500rpm when the torque converter unlocks it gets ~3000rpm and sounds like it's revving hard but not making any more power.

Best I ever got was 15mpg traveling up natchez trace from Jackson ms to tupelo ms running 55mph max.

What's your rig get?
 
I had a Passat TDI that got 51mpg on an 800 mile trip one way.....loaded down on the way back it only got 42. My Bronco II on 31's got 13 and I had a moped that got high 60's :dunno:
 
02 s10 2.2 5 speed ext cab 2wd. Get 27 on the commute to work. Throw a 500 ranger behind it and it still gets in ten teens, just don't expect over 50 mph. :JRich:

97 f250 Classic. Square body style. 460 auto. 4wd. Short bed extra cab 285s. Get about 10 loaded or not. Uphill, downhill. Snowstorm, hurricane.
 
I got 8.5 mpg out of my 96 powerstroke 4x4 5 speed bone stock,pulling a 36ft gooseneck with 2 buggys and a pop up camper to RBD this past yr.everyday driving I get 14.7 mpg , that's running 70/75 mph


2003 toyota camry got 260k on it and still gets 30 mpg no matter how ye drive it
 
03 dodge 3500 2wd duel 19 mpg. Pulling 13
10 dodge 3500 4wd duel mega cab 13 mpg pulling 9
HHR 29.7 bham to Tampa running 74
05 rhino 5 days per tank
 
97 Dodge 2500 xcab lwb 2wd with a 12 valve. Average 20 city and hwy, 18 pulling the jeep on a 18' dovetail. It's about 6k loaded give or take.
 
16V Tracker on 31's 20mpg
2005 1500 Z71 Daily driving around town about 15, on the highway empty it got 20mpg the whole way up to Green Bay, and it usually gets 10-11 pulling a 1 ton jeep on an 18ft car hauler.
I would really like to figure out the propane mileage on my jeep, pretty sure its pretty shitty.
 
2007 F250 6.0 - 16 city/19.5mpg hwy doing 75-80 and approx. 14mpg pulling my 16ft gooseneck with my Samurai buggy at 75mph
2015 Ford Explorer 3.5 Ecoboost - 16 city/20hwy...of course we still haven't gotten past the point of standing on it every other red light
1991 Mazda Miata - 28-30mpg no matter how it's driven
1988.5 Samurai - 28mpg when it was stock
2009 Harley Street Glide - 45mpg
 
2001 cummins - 23mpg highway unloaded, 19 city, 13-22 loaded depending on the highway and the wind
2006 G6 GTP - 23-26 mpg daily driver
2011 Ford Edge - 23 highway, wife's ride
Toyota truggy - full day of riding on about 6 gallons :JRich: :driving:
 
2004 F-350 6.0- 17-18mpg as a daily driver and 12-13 towing 25 ft gooseneck with 1 ton cab truck on interstate at 75-80mph.
2011 F-250 FX-4 6.7- 18.5-20.5 mpg so far.

I had a 96 460/5sp 4.10 gears 4wd it got 10.5 loaded or not

I now have 02 F250 7.3 auto 4wd ,
14 loaded with single rig, 11 loaded with 2 buggys, running 75-80mph from SC to Harlan
16-18 empty around town, 21 hwy
