Mazda pickup truck with 4cyl - in take pump has gone out and tank is full of rust. Looking to put a small external tank in bed with eternal pump. Does anybody know what PSI pump is required to run the fuel injected 4 cyl - I am guessing around 40 psi

Thanks

On a 93 b series 4 banger (just because you didn't gimme a year :flipoff1:) alldata says:

FUEL PUMP PRESSURE (UNREGULATED) 64 - 85 psi (441 - 589 kPa)

FUEL PUMP PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE 50 - 71 psi (343 - 491 kPa)

FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE (REGULATED)

W/18" - 21" Hg Vacuum To Pressure Regulator 28 - 37 psi (196 - 255 kPa)

W/No Vacuum To Pressure Regulator 38 - 46 psi (265 - 314 kPa)

FUEL SYSTEM RESIDUAL PRESSURE 21 psi (147 kPa) min
