Okay so I have seen load fuel pumps before but I think mine is screwing with me.
Started this **** several weeks ago - when the jeep is first started no noise can be detected. Seems like as it gets hotter outside it starts to get louder and louder until the sumbicth sounds like it is gonna take a **** any min. Cut the jeep off for a long period of time and it will repeat the cycle. The pump only has 5 rides on it. Checked the filter and no blockage there.
For reference the pump is external and located on the frame rail and is not to close to exhaust or anything that would direct heat right on to it. Only real worry is that it will strand me on the back 40 somewhere with no warning. I do not have a fuel pressure gauge but I cannot tell any change in the motor when it is making noise.
Any thoughts......
