Fuel pump post

Got a walbro 255 shipped to me, the positive stud is broken off. They sent me a replacement but wondered if any of you have had a similar problem and fixed it. I'd like to fix this one and have for a spare. The outide of the pump seems like a sleeve that is rolled on the top edge to hold the guts in.
Can't post a pic right now for some reason...

Yes. That bs damn near stranded me at morris mountain. When I got home I double nutted it to the housing then put the wire on. I assumed the nut had backed off some and it arced enough to mess the threads up so it wouldn't tighten like it was stripped threads. Guess I need to check it over again

The stud on this one is broke clean off even with the pump body where it goes inside.

I had this happen to one too...never could figure out a way to fix it. Summit sent me a new one, and the broken one is still sitting on the shelf brand new in the box.
