Which 14 bolt rear end is better semi Float or full float . I Have heard both ways . Be for i start build my rear end i would like to know which is better , also how to make it one of these bling bling rears i hear so much about . The only thing i ever see about these is a chrome rear cover and a diff guard ..

I am also looking for a 35 or 40 spline spool . Any Help with were to get one ?

Looking at a set of Ouverson 300M axles From Adam . Are these worth the money or just put a set of 4340's in ?

Full Float , don't waist your time with semi float. Ouverson 300m shafts are bling for sure, well worth the money.
You don't need a 35 spline spool, just get a regular spool for a 14 bolt. The Ouverson shafts are 30 spline inner and 35 or 37 spline outters.
Just get some good brakes, Wilwood or something similar.

Ok . My next problem im going to have to over come is . Im running a set of Solid's 6-5.50 wheel hubs . Which you have to turn down the end of the axles to get the wheels to go over . I guess im going to have to contact both Solid and ouverson company's and see what i can work out between the two of them to get it all to mach up and work .

Yeah have fun with that. I have been going through the same thing with my 14 bolt swap. How are you gonna get the brakes to work with the 6 lug hubs and rotors? I am having to have custom spacers made to make mine work.
Also you will have to get your rotors machined so they fit over the hub.
I have been tossing around the idea of going back to 8 lug just to make things easier.

The brakes are easy . I Had a set of one piece custom hats and rotors Casted and cut for my last axle set from Coleman racing in Michigan . I am currently look at a set of Blank Hats from summit racing and Speed way motors for the Rotors .

Summit racing wilwood hats - WIL-1713753

Speedway motors Rotors - 94031066

Then im just running 4 or 6 piston will wood brake calipers And ill have to cut a bracket to hold it up .

On my hats when i drill the holes in them I am going to use press in studs like the solid Hubs take and put my rotors on the back side of the hub and press the studs threw them to hold it all as one piece . You will have to cut out the center of the hat to fit over the back side of the Hub . Or at least thats how im doing it .

Cole can you tell me how big The caps are on the end of your ouversons . So i can see how much i am going to have to cut off them to make them work .

Also For future reference you can put a set of Solid hubs off a 60 front end on the 14 bolt rear , the bearings and all fit on perfect so all you have to do is put a drive slug kit inside the end with the full float axles .

I don't have Ouversons. I'm running stock short side on one side and a cut to length Yukon axle on the other side. Didn't want to spend the money on 300m shafts right now.
