Full Pirate Article is up.....

Damn, that was a lot of work. The article is littered with typos and **** and I have no control to fix it, so if Lance does not run through it and fix a few things..... :dunno:

So stupid me thought I could get those pics up on Saturday night. I laugh. We did not even pull out of there until 9:00 and we were so tired we ate and went to bed.

Next I had to edit nearly every picture I took which was just over 1000. So, I edited them all and cut them down to around 500 and I deleted all of my work when I tried to do my first-ever FTP upload.

So I did not end up getting the pics to Lance until 9:00 pm last night.

I threw the article together this morning and sent it all to Lance. I had a lot more pics of Wyatt and P in the one I sent in, but he cut it down in the article to what you see.

Anyway, it was great fun, my #1 goal was to score some good shots for the Pirate 2009 calendar and that goal was met.

It was great seeing all of you bozos and meeting some of you for the first time. Please share the above link with all of the other boards you may frequent. I want to help the Weavers get the good word out to as many as possible.

By the way, Nolen you did an awesome job. Running around shooting is hard work, but it's nothing compared to sorting the photos, uploading, and writing. Being a photog is way more work than people realize.

That article made me realize how hard the course was. The other videos and pics I've seen didn't really do it justice.

Did we get to meet Bones? I drove in on Sat morning and met a few guys but then dissapeared into the hole until it was over. I regret not getting to spend more time with some of you.

Hanging out in the hole with my MS gang, John, Ricky,Cole and others was a real treat.

Thanks to Louis for getting me some calories around noon....I had plenty of water but left my food in the car.

That was where I was coming from around 3:00 when I sliped down in front of the crowd.

man that's the truth...I know for a while after I'd gotten tired and decided to not move around so much nolen was still runnin back and forth shootin...looks like it paid off though, that's a great writeup

I was just looking at my rockmidgetphotography.com page and since I posted the pictures to the XRRA pics to my gallery it has gotten 60,000 hits.

That is unfugginbelievable.

Pirate has power. Love them or hate them, if I got that many hits I wonder how many Pirate got
