Well dammit I wanna go romp around in the snow this weekend and new years with my 66 chevy stepside. Now where can I go? I see a bunch of people headed out to "Iron Goat" and "Evans". But.... it seems a few of these places are not big boy friendly.
Soooo Can Someone point me in the right direction for some holiday wheeling this weekend? I am not out to push the truck to the limits but would like to take the wife out to at least a nice group gathering up in the snow.

Not sure what you will get for a group gathering, but the 70RD off of Highway 410 would be a good place for the stepside. Its all forest roads and will have snow at higher elevations.

Good to hear your back safely from Iraq, thank you for your service, my hat is off! From Spanaway a few places close you might run into groups of people are out highway 7 towards Mt Rainier through Elbe and Ashford to roads off Scate Creek road or go up Copper Creek road to some great views of Mt. Rainier and some snow wheelin. You can also run up to Evans Creek out of Wilkeson, just stay off the trails if you don't want dents, there are some roads you can hit. You can also run up highway 410 out of Enumclaw which has a few roads you can run around on in the snow the closer you get to Crystal Mt. Ski Resort. There is a good map store at 7030 Tacoma mall blvd in Tacoma. Good luck:D.. I also want to say :DaBird: :osama:
