I just picked up a full width Dana 44 front from a 3/4 Chev and Ford 9" rear axle. I am going to put them under my Samurai and I am wondering what would be best full width or get the cut to fit around 4' wider than stock. I like doing the more difficult rock climbing and technical trails.

I would probably say cut on a Zuk. Hypothetically, if the wheelbase was stretched enough it probably wouldn't look as crazy running them full...

I was going to leave the wheel base the same for now. Any places around that cut tubes and size axles?

lol, that would really make it look like a roller skate with full width axles.

I bet it would be a bitch to roll over, but the leaf spring mounts would really become a challenge for the front.

Get pics, I wanna see the end result.

Seriously outboarded springs :redneck::corn:

Unless he's linking it...

Where are you located?

Lake Stevens. I called Trail tough and they Recommended a place in Portland OR called Dutchmans. They also said 4" wider than stock would make it the same width as a Toy truck axle. I'm thinking on going that route.
