So I'm wishing more and more that I put a sold D44 under my rig instead of the TTB lift. I'd like to go with an Early bronco width axle since I like the ability to squeeze through ****. I realize that a full width setup would give me more stability... but then I'd have to swap the rear end for full width also...

Either way.. the axle will be a high pinion disk D44 from an F-150, either narrowed to EB width or maybe a waggy 44 with Ford outers..

Suspension in either case will be ford coil/radius arm with Duff long arms.

Thoughts/advice/opinions?

i say you leave your front end full width. and just get a 9" or 8.8 from a bronco to match plus they are cheap and easy to find. then run 4" BS wheels and you wont be all that wide

no way cut them . My buds bronco 2 has full axle can't fit in some trail .I cut my buds dana 60 for his toyota works great.

Full width is too wide for you rig and your wheelbase, unless you want to drive a square.

Go narrow and have a driver.
