Am I looking at this right? Looks like the master cylinders mount vertically downward from the assembly. Might be just what I need.

Re:

They would if you wanted to push down on the pedal. Might be hard to bleed unless you went with a remote resi.

That pedal is designed for the vertical mounting in the pic to bolt down to the floor with the pedal standing vertical.

yes but the whole assembly will get rotated 90* so you mount it from the top or on the master side, which would be the rear.

Well that sucks. I might just have to find a way to use a typical, through the firewall master cylinder setup. Thanks for saving me some money.

The reservoirs mount where the bracket is rounded. I had this brake pedal but sold it cause I needed a clutch and it worked out better to cut up a jeep pedal assembly. You could mount it to the firewall. However you would have to mount the reservoirs on the other side (motor side) of the wall and drill an extra hole for mc rod.

Yeah, that's kinda what I thought too once I realized how it mounts. I may still end up with that pedal as it looks to have a short, ummm, arm? I dunno. The one I have now is pretty long and also puts the cylinders and res towards me which will interfere with the orbital. Even if I went with remote reservoirs it would be a toss up. I only have about 9" between the highest point that something could go through the firewall, to the floor. If that makes sense.

Yeah, I had plans...
But when I started placing everything it went to hell quick. For me I had that pedal assembly, steering shaft, and clutch all bought. It was all going to be hidden under the dash for a clean look. The more a tried to make it work the less I liked it. I gave up and placed everything on motor side of fire wall, which worked out much better. It made MC easier to access.
It also got the orbital valve out of my lap, and put it much lower on the other side of the fire wall. Which is a safety issue te more I read. I just had to fab a pedal assembly and steering column. I'm very happy how mine turned out, but I lost like three days figuring it out. Good luck

Lol. I'm learning to do less planning and just wing it. I'm sure it'll all bite me in the ass 10 time over before I'm done. Hell, I just ordered my 2nd steering wheel. :****:
