So Carl and his family have evacuated the MS Coast because of Gustav. David, Louis and Pat came up with their buggies and we went playing. It was a blast. Funny thing, right before they left, I was driving David's kick ass buggy and got it stuck driving over a pile of brush.....Carl came to my rescue with a bigger oops.....

1. How'd that happen on flat ground? Does Carl want my roll award?
2. Awesome, glad to see you abusing that buggy
3. Glad Carl got the hell outta NOLA

Yeah, that is some funny ****.

Wyatt, Carl lives in Mississippi, not the "Chocolate City"

Glad to know I am not the only person to roll on flat ground

Just like you did.....cutting a Donut!

Nah, keep it in here. Carl is pretty upset about it especially since his niece got hurt.

She got a nasty lick on her shin....it looked like a baseball was in there last night...she wanted to go to the ER, but we talked her out of it.

no doubt, thanks again....

did you get it running after the vapor lock?

Hydro lock...sorry.

It was a PITA since you have to pull the engine panels to get to the spark plugs. I was about to not worry about the passenger side seeing it was on the high side, but all 4 cylinders on the "UP" side had oil in them and only the front one had it on the low side.

I needed to check the plugs anyway, of the 3 that did not have oil, they looked good.

I put some insulation on the firewall when I had it out.

FUn stuff, they headed back this morning in this nasty weather.

Yeah Nolen thats what happens on those motors. The intake actually gets the oil, and when you flip it back over it runs into the driverside.

I have had mine on the driverside a handful of times as you know, and the driverside bank fills up. 1st time I had it on the passenger side was in Indiana after those cyclones. We pulled the passenger side and they were all dry. Pull the driverside which was the up side, and all 4 were oiled up.

And you ain't kidding pulling plugs on tight fit buggies SUCKS!

My driver's side is the hard one, and in the big scheme, it is easy. I have Dzus on the passenger side (4) and on the driver's side there are 4 Dzus, but I had to remove 4 bolts on the gas pedal because I could not work the panel out.

Easy comparative to having a fender to deal with and I am glad I did it in the shop so I can do it faster out on the trail.

My motor seems to get oil in the intake as badly as yours does. I am not sure if it is right. I hate being the "smoke-screen" guy.

I am 99% sure the leak is though the PCV. I have thought about running it through a catch can type setup to eliminate it. Ken Mercer said he'll end up with a teaspoon or more in his catch after a day racing. I was very surprised.

And yeah I am that smokescreen guy as well, and I hate it.

I want to see one of these setups and definately want to set it up. I have no intentions of throttle back my rolls so I need to make a change to save potentially bending a rod or worse windowing my block.
Any leads?

I dont even know where the PCV is on my motor. I am going to cap that sucker when I find it.
