Texas hasnt waited on FEMA or the Federal Goverment one bit in the wake of IKE. Everything is nearly back to order here in Houston. Galveston opened to residents only yesterday. And Bolivar Peninsula is still closed as it should be.

My friends and family didn't wait on anyone to help us out...we just sucked it up and did what we had to do to get everything that we needed up and going again...fema said they were going to re-imburse us for some things but that took forever
