I run Lucas in all my stuff. 80/90. Seems to work just fine.
There are those that would argue that "oil is oil" and as long as you change it regularly, you won't have any problems.

For a four wheeler/ not highway driven cheaper is better. In general our gear boxes don't get hot enough to need the fancy stuff.

-Oh no I picked a side-
I just run 80-90w in the diffs--like rick says the diffs don't get that hot if its a wheeler. But I do run redline synthetic in the gear boxes.
